Diamond Green Team

You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.

- Jane Goodall

THANK YOU to lunchtime volunteers! Remember only food items and paper products go to the compost bin.

Save The World One Lunch At A Time

Did you know?

  • Americans account for only 5% of the world’s population but create half of the globe’s solid waste. (Scientific America);

  • 80%+ of the waste in our school cafeterias can be composted or recycled.

At Diamond, we will divert lunch waste from incinerators and landfills EVERY DAY - with your help!

Parent and teacher volunteers needed!

Satisfying, rewarding, educational, fun, are how LPS Green Team volunteers describe their experiences.

At Diamond, our enthusiastic student volunteers need guidance and support from their adult heroes. Bring a buddy or come and meet new friends here, either way you will enjoy the time spent in saving our planet!
